The United States has adopted a new package of sanctions against Russia, which includes 17 people, the US Treasury Department announced on its website today.
Among those affected by the sanctions is Sergei Roldugin, a close ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Reuters reported.
The latest sanctions also target 16 entities, seven vessels and three aircraft, the statement said.
