Mikhail Podolyak, an adviser to the Ukrainian president and chief negotiator in peace talks with Russia, today accused Europe and the United States of having an irrational fear of Russia.
In an interview published today by the Interfax-Ukraine news agency, Podoljak said that the political elites of the West want to return to the pre-war period and do not want to solve the problems, Reuters reports.
He added that their financial priorities take precedence in decision-making.
